MGAP (AKA Mad Geezers Arguing Politics) started as a place to take off topic posts on the Mopar Mailing List (MML). It has tuned into a stand alone mailing list discussing politics, economics, mechanics, trains, plains, space, science and fire arms.
The Motors, Guns, and Politics list allows discussion of any topic. You do not need to be politically correct or even polite but you do need to be able to make a cogent argument and back up you opinion with facts. In over ten years of heated discussion and physical threats, only one member has been suspended for being an annoying, unfunny moron. If you are up for informative and lively conversation, join in the fun.
This list is sure to offend you and will probably increase the thickness of your FBI file. More importantly, it will make you think.
